Torriden Toner and Pads Compared

Torriden's US catalogue lists six toners and pads, from the 300 ml DIVE IN Toner to the acid-containing BALANCEFUL Peeling Toner. Here is how they differ and what UK shops charge.

Where to buy & UK prices

Which Torriden Toner or Pad Is Which?

Torriden's US catalogue files six products under "Toner & Pad": DIVE IN Toner, DIVE IN Skin Booster, DIVE IN Multi Pad, BALANCEFUL Toner Pad, BALANCEFUL Peeling Toner and CELLMAZING Brightening Spot Toning Pad. The first two are hydration-led liquids with no exfoliating acid in the ingredient list; the other four each list at least one. This page sets them side by side so you can pick one.

This site does not publish user ratings or run its own tests: we look at ingredients, the brand's information and UK shop prices. We are an independent guide, not a shop.

DIVE IN Toner and Skin Booster: The Liquid Pair

DIVE IN Toner and DIVE IN Skin Booster are both low pH, hyaluronic acid-based liquids, and neither lists an exfoliating acid. The Toner is the lighter, bigger bottle; the Skin Booster is the richer one and the only one of the two that lists a ceramide.

DIVE IN Toner (300 ml)

The brand describes it as a gentle, low pH toner that removes excess oil and replenishes moisture after washing, with a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly. It also says the formula is suitable even for sensitive skin; that is the brand's description, not something we can verify.

  • Hyaluronic acid: five forms are listed (Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate and Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate), which is the brand's "5D" idea.
  • Other hydrators: Glycerin, Betaine, Panthenol, Allantoin and Trehalose.
  • Plant extracts: Portulaca Oleracea Extract and Malachite Extract.
  • Not listed: Fragrance or Parfum, and any exfoliating acid.

DIVE IN Skin Booster (200 ml)

The brand calls it an intensive moisturising, low pH toner for dry skin with a smooth finish. One UK shop, Oh My Cream, lists it as a "toning lotion", so yes, it sits in the toner step rather than replacing your serum.

  • Same five hyaluronic acid forms as the Toner, plus Glycerin, Panthenol, Allantoin and Trehalose.
  • Ceramide NP and Phytosphingosine are listed; the brand says the ceramide supports the skin's moisture barrier.
  • Plant extracts include Witch Hazel Leaf Extract and Anthemis Nobilis (chamomile) Flower Extract.
  • Not listed: Fragrance or Parfum, and any exfoliating acid.

If you want a ceramide in your toner step, the Skin Booster is the one to look at. If you prefer the lighter option in the bigger bottle, the Toner is the simpler choice. For the product that goes after them, see our DIVE IN Serum guide.

DIVE IN Multi Pad: How to Use It

The DIVE IN Multi Pad is a soaked pad rather than a bottle of liquid. The brand describes it as a daily moisture pad with "5D multi low-molecular hyaluronic acid" that cools and soothes the skin, and says it also preps skin for makeup. The US page lists 80 pads and 160 ml.

We could not see the brand's step-by-step directions, so follow the instructions printed on the pack you buy. What the brand's description tells us about the pad is below.

  • Texture: the brand calls it an adhesive, highly absorbent pad that clings closely to the skin.
  • Feel: the brand says it cools and soothes overheated skin, which is why it is pitched for busy mornings and makeup prep.
  • Ingredients to know about: one mild exfoliating acid (Gluconolactone), plus Ceramide NP, Caffeine, Tea Tree Extract, Witch Hazel Water and Apple Fruit Water. Five hyaluronic acid forms are in there too.
  • Fragrance: no Fragrance or Parfum is listed, though the list does contain several plant extracts.

Because it contains a mild exfoliating acid, treat it as a hydrating pad that is not entirely acid-free. If you use retinol or another strong active, ask your GP, a pharmacist or a dermatologist before adding pads that contain acids.

BALANCEFUL Pads and Peeling Toner: The Exfoliating Side

BALANCEFUL Toner Pad and BALANCEFUL Peeling Toner both contain exfoliating acids alongside centella, so they are not like the DIVE IN toners. The Toner Pad lists two acids; the Peeling Toner lists five. The brand pitches both as gentle and suitable even for sensitive skin, but that is its claim, and acids can still sting some skin.

BALANCEFUL Toner Pad (180 ml)

  • Brand description: a daily toner pad with five types of centella and "LHA & PHA" that the brand says calms and smooths; it also describes daily gentle exfoliation of excess sebum and dead skin cells.
  • Pad design: an embossed pad with a textured 3D surface, per the brand.
  • Acids in the list: Gluconolactone and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid.
  • Centella: Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid and Asiaticoside.

BALANCEFUL Peeling Toner (250 ml)

  • Brand description: a gentle exfoliating toner with five types of centella and "5 types of acids" for removing dead skin cells and smoothing rough texture.
  • Acids in the list: Gluconolactone, Betaine Salicylate, Succinic Acid, Lactic Acid and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid.
  • Also listed: Niacinamide, Panthenol, Ceramide NP and Beta-Glucan.

For the full centella story, including the serum and cream, see our BALANCEFUL Cica range guide. If you have acne, rosacea or eczema, or are pregnant, ask your GP, a pharmacist or a dermatologist before using exfoliating acids.

CELLMAZING Brightening Spot Toning Pad

This is the pad from the CELLMAZING line, and it is the one with a vitamin C ingredient. The brand describes a toning pad with "5 kinds of vitamin ingredients" that helps refine the look of skin and visibly improve a dull, uneven-looking tone. We read that as a brand claim about appearance, not a treatment.

  • Vitamin C forms listed: 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Palmitate and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate.
  • Also listed: Niacinamide, Panthenol, Adenosine, Allantoin, Tocopherol, Glutathione and Sodium Hyaluronate.
  • Acid: Gluconolactone, a mild exfoliating acid.
  • Two-in-one: the brand says the pad (gel plus a fabric with moisture holes) works both as a toner pad and as a sheet mask.

The UK shops where we found it list 70 pads (Superdrug's marketplace listing and Pure Seoul), with Pure Seoul giving 175 ml. For more on the vitamin C and retinol products in this line, see our CELLMAZING guide.

Torriden Toner and Pad Prices in the UK

Prices checked on 19 October 2026 ranged from £16.00 for the Skin Booster to £25.00 for a Multi Pad, depending on the shop. Superdrug lists some Torriden products from its own stock and others from a marketplace seller, so read the seller line before you buy.

Sizes are as listed by each shop. Superdrug's own listing for the Toner does not give a size, so we have not assigned one to it.

"Not found" means we did not see the product listed when we looked on 19 October 2026, not that the shop cannot get it. Pure Seoul and Superdrug's marketplace seller also list small sizes: a 50 ml DIVE IN Toner mini at £7.00 and a 10-pad DIVE IN Multi Pad at £5.00, which can be a cheap way to try one first. Toner or Pad: How to Choose

Pick a liquid if you like pouring it into your hands or onto cotton, and a pad if you want the product and the wipe in one. Pick DIVE IN if you want hydration without an acid in the list, and a BALANCEFUL or CELLMAZING pad if you are happy to use an exfoliating acid. All of this comes from ingredient lists and the brand's own descriptions.

  • Want the simplest hydrating step: DIVE IN Toner, which lists no acid.
  • Want a ceramide in the toner step: DIVE IN Skin Booster.
  • Want a cooling, makeup-prep pad: DIVE IN Multi Pad, bearing in mind it lists Gluconolactone.
  • Want a daily exfoliating pad with centella: BALANCEFUL Toner Pad.
  • Want the longest list of acids: BALANCEFUL Peeling Toner, which lists five.
  • Want a vitamin C pad: CELLMAZING Brightening Spot Toning Pad.

About a name you may have searched: we did not find a product called "Zero Pore Pad" in Torriden's catalogue. It is not a Torriden product name, and it is probably another brand's pad. For how Torriden compares with other brands, see Torriden compared with other K-beauty brands.

To place these toners within the whole brand, our guide to Torriden's ranges explained by colour and skin type covers all four lines. For the brand's vegan and cruelty-free statements and its sensitive-skin wording, see the cruelty-free, vegan and sensitive skin guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Toner or toner pad: which should I buy?
It depends on whether you want an acid. DIVE IN Toner and Skin Booster are liquids with no exfoliating acid in the US ingredient list, while the Multi Pad, BALANCEFUL Toner Pad and CELLMAZING Spot Toning Pad each list at least one. Choose on texture preference and on how your skin copes with acids.
How do you use the Multi Pad?
Follow the directions printed on the pack, as we could not see the brand's step-by-step instructions. The brand describes the pad as clinging closely to the skin and cooling it, and says it is good for preparing skin before makeup.
Is the Skin Booster a toner?
Yes. In the brand's own catalogue it is filed under toners and described as a low pH toner, and one UK shop lists it as a toning lotion. It is richer than the plain DIVE IN Toner and lists Ceramide NP.
Can you use Torriden pads every day?
The brand calls the Multi Pad a daily moisture pad and the BALANCEFUL Toner Pad a daily toner pad. Several pads list exfoliating acids, though, and we cannot say how often your skin will tolerate them. Follow the pack directions, and ask your GP, a pharmacist or a dermatologist if you are unsure.
Is there a Torriden Zero Pore Pad?
We did not find a product by that name in Torriden's catalogue, so it is probably another brand's product. The Torriden pads we found are the Multi Pad, the BALANCEFUL Toner Pad and the CELLMAZING Brightening Spot Toning Pad.
Which Torriden toner or pad contains vitamin C?
According to the ingredient list on Torriden's US website, the CELLMAZING Brightening Spot Toning Pad lists 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and several other vitamin C forms. None of the other five toners and pads lists them.
